Aning Katamsi
Chorus Director and Principal Conductor
Aning Katamsi Asmoro is one of the best sopranos in Indonesia. She consistently dedicates herself to classical music. With her mom, Alm. Pranawengrum Katamsi, Aning got her first vocal course, which then brought her to join a vocal course at Sekolah Musik Yayasan Pendidikan Musik with Catharina W. Leimena as the teacher. She also got the chance to learn from Lee Alison Sibley and the master class from Ruth Drucker, Andrea Ehrenreich, Adib Fazah, and Rudolf Jansen. Not only taking the vocal classes, Aning also mastered her piano class with Susiana A. Wibowo and Iravati M. Sudiarso as the teachers.
Aning has been the conductor of Paragita Choir since 1990. She has brought Paragita Choir to achieve a lot of achievements on national and international competitions, such as in Miltenberg, Arnherm, and Spittal. Besides conducting, she also does some collaborations with Indonesian’s Orchestras; Orkes Simfoni Jakarta, Twilite Orchestra, Nusantara Symphony Orchestra and Jakarta Chamber Orchestra.

Barkah Adji Kasyono

Adji first knew Paragita Choir when he started his study at Universitas Indonesia, when the Chorus Director was Lilik Sugiarto. With Paragita, he joined a lot of concerts and competitions, both national and international. To increase his capability, he learned Choir Conducting Class from a lot of teachers, such as Jonathan Velasco (Philippine), Prof. Jung Pyo Hong (Korea), and Orchestra Conducting Class from Budi Utomo Prabowo at Musicasa Jakarta. In 2007, Adji was asked to be one of the chorus director team for Paragita Choir. He has brought Paragita Choir to get achievements, both in concerts and competitions.

Agus Yuwono
Conductor and Deputy Chorus Director
Agus Yuwono was first singing for Paragita Choir in 1995. He took a vocal class in Yayasan Pendidikan Musik with Binu D. Sukaman and Aning Katamsi Asmoro as the teachers. He is also the member of Twilite Chorus and Batavia Madrigal Singers, which is also one of the best choir in Indonesia. Agus Yuwono also took music’s master class from Jonathan Velasco (Philippines). Agus Yuwono was asked to be one of the chorus director team for Paragita Choir in June 2007. He has brought Paragita Choir to get achievements, both in concerts and competitions.

Irzam Rajasa Dastriansyah
Conductor and Deputy Chorus Director
Irzam Rajasa Dastriansyah started his first conducting experience in 1998, he was a conductor for The Student Choir of Universitas Trisakti. In 2000, Irzam continued his study in Universitas Indonesia and joined Paragita Choir with Aning Katamsi as the chorus director. He took a lot of workshop and master class for choir and orchestra from Phillip Green (Australia), Jonathan Velasco (Philippines), and also the maestro of conducting from Indonesia, Budi Utomo Prabowo. In November 2009, Irzam was chosen to be the conductor of Paragita Choir in National Universities Choir Competition and brought Paragita Choir to get the 2nd prize. He was also winning as the best conductor.

Ramona Unsulangi
Deputy Chorus Director
Ramona Unsulangi started her music career by taking a keyboard class at age 9 in Yayasan Pusat Pendidikan Musik (1983-1989), and also from Romo Antonius Soetanta, S.J. (1985-1990). Mona learned how to play the piano by herself when she joined Paduan Suara SMA Tarakanita in 1994. When she was graduated from FISIP UI, she became the member and also the pianist for Paragita Choir, and got the chance to join a choral clinic from Aida Swenson Simanjuntak and Ronald Pohan. She also joined some choir festivals, two of them was held in Netherlands and Germany. Nowadays, she also works as vocal instructor at Elfa Music School. She still increases her talent by taking piano class from Ray Davna.
Deputy Chorus Director
Ramona Unsulangi started her music career by taking a keyboard class at age 9 in Yayasan Pusat Pendidikan Musik (1983-1989), and also from Romo Antonius Soetanta, S.J. (1985-1990).
